Shirakaba Rentals

Based out of the Madarao Kogen Hotel, this is the biggest ski rental place in Madarao and is based right on the slopes. Great if you have problems and need to get back quickly and swap out something or get a quick adjustment done.

Chill Madarao

New to Madarao in 2018-19 season is the rental at Chill Madarao.
Close to the slopes at the top of the Number One lift, Chill has a great range new equipment ready to roll.

Miyuki Snow Sports by Active Life

Active Life Madarao  has also started a rental ski shop that hires a range of equipment. Based close to both Chill Madarao and the Madarao Kogen Hotel, it means that all the good rental gear is within a snowballs throw away.

Never Summer and Harvest at
​Madarao Mountain Lodge

Want to try a Never Summer demo snowboard or some Harvest powder skis? Madarao Mountain Lodge has a range of Never Summer powder boards and Harvest all-mountain powder skis that are available to test out.

Never Summer have been producing high-performance snowboards since 1983 and are based out of Denver, Colorado. They also produce a range of all-mountain powder skis through their other brand, Harvest Skis. If you like the board or the skis, you can even buy directly through the lodge.
